EV Chop

Players in NLH, PLO, FLASH, 6+, and Bombpot can now try out this feature at eligible tables.

      🟡 WHAT IS EV CHOP?

Ev Chop  is a cash game feature that lets players split the pot in advance, based on their current chance of winning.

If all remaining players are all-in, the pot is 20 big blinds (BB) or more, and the river card hasn't been dealt yet (i.e., the hand is on preflop, flop, or turn), players can use Equity Payout to immediately take a portion of the pot that matches their current win probability.

      Basic Conditions:

      • Available only in cash games

      • Requires an all-in situation and a pot of at least 20BB

      • Can be used only on Preflop, Flop, or Turn (not on the River)

      WHY USE EV CHOP?

      Benefits include:

      🔸 Lower variance, reduced losses
In unfavorable situations, Equity Payout allows you to get back part of your investment and minimize potential losses.

      🔸 Lock in your profit
In favorable situations, you can cash out part of your expected winnings early, reducing luck-based swings.

      WHAT GAMES SUPPORT EV CHOP?

      • Works only in cash games (not in MTTs or SNGs)

      • Supported formats: NLH, PLO, PLO5, FLASH, 6+, Bombpot

      • Not available in double-board games

      HOW IS EV CHOP CALCULATED?

      📌 Cashout:

Players can withdraw a portion of the pot based on their current win probability (equity). Once they select this option, they will receive the specified amount immediately but forfeit their right to continue competing for the full pot.

      📌 Resume Hand:

Players can reject the EV Chop offer and continue playing as usual, competing for the full pot. Even if opponents choose to cash out, players who do not accept EV Chop must still have the best hand at showdown to win the pot.

      Calculation Formulas:

      1. EV Chop Fee (2% platform fee):

      Fee = (Pot – Total Fee) × Equity × 0.02

      2. Player Payout:

Payout = (Pot – Total Fee) × Equity – Ev Chop Fee

*If there are multiple pots, the EV Chop Fee will be calculated for each pot.

*The EV Chop amount represents the platform’s profit (positive value) or loss (negative value) for that hand.

🔓 TRIGGER CONDITIONS FOR EV CHOP:

      General (for the hand):

      1. The table must have Ev Chop enabled

      2. The hand must be on Preflop, Flop, or Turn

      3. All players not involved in the showdown must have folded

      4. The main or any side pot must be ≥20BB

      5. At least one player must have a different win probability from the others

*If all five conditions are met, the following criteria will be used to determine whether each player qualifies for EV Chop:

      1. The player is still eligible for at least one pot ≥20BB

      2. The player’s win probability is not 0% or 100%

      3. The possible payout is ≥ $0.01

Summary: EV Chop will only be offered if the hand meets the initial five conditions, and the player meets the additional three conditions.

EV CHOP VS. RUN MULTIPLE TIMES

Equity Payout and Run Multiple Times (deal the board twice or three times) cannot be used together.

      Example 1:

      • Pot: $100

      • Two players: A (20% chance), B (80% chance)

      • A chooses EV Chop → receives $20

      • B chooses to continue → hand plays to showdown

      • Run Multiple Times is NOT triggered

      Example 2:

      • Pot: $100

      • Same players and equity

      • Both decline EV Chop

      • Run Multiple Times is triggered, and the hand continues
